How I Help Clients

Every project begins with a material decision. I help clients identify, evaluate, and develop leather that supports the design intent, performance requirements, production realities, and quality expectations of the finished product.

My role can begin with a designer’s brief, a material challenge, or simply the need to find a better leather — and continue through tannery identification, sampling, development, troubleshooting, and production support.

Leather Evaluation & Development

I help evaluate leather samples for appearance, hand, consistency, suitability, and performance, then work through development adjustments when needed. That can include color, finish, grain, weight, temper, or other characteristics that affect how the leather looks, feels, and performs in the finished product.

Leather Sourcing & Tannery Identification

I help clients identify the right tannery and leather based on design intent, quality expectations, performance needs, price point, and production requirements. My global network and long-standing tannery relationships help narrow the search efficiently and connect projects with the right source.

Troubleshooting & Production Support

When a leather or production issue arises, I help identify the cause and work through practical solutions with the tannery, manufacturer, or client. This can include consistency problems, finish concerns, performance issues, substitutions, production changes, or other challenges that need to be resolved before a project can move forward.
